Luka Milivojevic, Midfielder, Crystal Palace

Salary: $9,000

The top end of the midfield position is absolutely loaded with in-form players. After Paul Pogba, there is: James Maddison ($9,500), who is coming off a 39.2 FanDuel point performance and has over 20 FanDuel points in four of his last six matches, James Ward-Prowse ($9,000), who has a goal in each of his last three matches, Richarlison ($9,000), who has scored in back to back matches, and Gylfi Sigurdsson ($8,500), who is coming off a 37.9 FanDuel point performance against Chelsea. Milivojevic isn't as flashy as the midfielders around him, but his production has been every bit as good as theirs, if not better.

Milivojevic is likely to be one of the lowest-owned midfielders in his salary range despite having the best matchup. Crystal Palace is the second largest favorite on the slate, and their implied win probability is less than 1% below that of Manchester United. As a center mid, Milivojevic benefits most when he is given time to sit on the ball, and he should have plenty of time to do that this weekend against a Huddersfield side that has conceded 33 goals in 15 away matches this season.

Crystal Palace's positive outlook is an even greater boon to Milivojevic's FanDuel prospects because of his near monopoly over set pieces. Milivojevic has no competition for dead ball situations, adding a floor to his FanDuel outlook that other midfielders in his salary range can't match. His role is similar to the one Gylfi Sigurdsson had when he was a fantasy-point machine on Swansea City, but he generates less hype and ownership than Sigurdsson did at that time, making him an excellent option for tournaments this weekend.
