Marko Arnautović, Forward, West Ham

Salary: $10,000

It seems like a long time ago that Arnautović was terrorizing back lines on a regular basis. Following his rich vein of form early in the season, Arnutović has been in a slump, with only 2 goals and 2 assists in his 11 appearances since early November. At $10,000, Arnautović is similar in price to Salomon Rondon ($10,500), Aleksander Mitrovic ($9,500), and Troy Deeney ($9,000) all of whom have been productive recently. At the start of the season, Arnautović would likely have carried the highest amount of ownership of the group, but now he is likely to carry the least.

Arnautović's talent is obviously still there, and his 53 point FanDuel performance against Brighton in early January shows that his upside remains intact when the matchup is right. After starting last weekend's match against Newcastle on the bench due to an illness, he should be ready to go against Cardiff on Saturday.

Much of Arnautović's potential upside is due to his glorious match up against a Cardiff side that has conceded 16 goals in their last 6 home matches, including 8 in their last 2. West Ham has struggled mightily on the road this season, with just three goals in their last six matches, but Cardiff is the cure to all scoring woes at the moment. Pairing Arnautović with his teammate Felipe Anderson ($8,500) creates a stack that has been amongst the highest owned in the past but could fly under-the-radar this weekend in a prime matchup.
