Salomon Rondon, Forward, Newcastle United

Salary: $10,000

Rondon is the eighth-highest priced forward on the slate, and he has averaged 14.30 FanDuel points this season -- the 12th-highest average among all forwards. Rondon has not reached his FanDuel average in three of his last four matches despite producing at least one shot on target in two of those four matches.

West Ham are a slight favorite over the Magpies, and the match has a 53.7% chance of totaling under 2.5 goals, according to oddsmakers. Despite conceding the seventh-most goals on their home pitch (20), the Hammers have allowed the one or fewer goals in three straight matches at London Stadium, including matches against Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Magpies have scored the fourth-fewest goals on the road this season (10) and struggle over all away from St. James’ Park, producing the second-fewest shots per match (8.69) on the road. Rondon, despite scoring three goals on the road, is a part of those struggles as his shots and chances created have dipped drastically in road matches.

With most of the top-priced forwards playing in what look like smash spots, Rondon’s price may be hard to swallow as he is only $500 cheaper than Wilfried Zaha ($10,500) and $1,000 more than Ashley Barnes ($9,000), both of whom had been in great form prior to Matchweek 28.
