Diogo Jota, Forward, Wolves

FanDuel Price: $10,500

Jota has been all over the place lately. Back on January 19, he blew up for a hat trick and 71.9 FanDuel points versus Leicester City. He followed up with 29.9 FanDuel points against West Ham in his next outing. Since then, however, his FanDuel game log reads: 3.0, 8.0, 1.3 and 4.3 points.

Yikes.

While the game-to-game volatility takes him out of play for small-field contests, Jota is ideal for GPPs, and he's in a possible blow-up spot on Saturday as Wolves host Cardiff City. Cardiff have given up 24 goals in their 13 away EPL matches, and they've allowed 14 goals across their last six league matches overall.

Wolves own 68.8% implied win odds, per FanDuel Sportsbook, and are a 1.0-goal favorite with a 1.75-goal implied total -- all of which is tied for second on the slate. Jota has started 11 straight matches, so if he's given a rest due to the short turnaround after midweek play, you can feel good about targeting any Wolves attacker.

In small-field contests, you can pay up for whoever Manchester City -- a 2.0-goal favorite with 82.1% implied win odds at Bournemouth -- starts at striker: Sergio Agüero ($14,000) or Gabriel Jesus (11,500). Marko Arnautovic ($10,500), who sat out on Wednesday due to an illness, is in a nice spot at home versus Newcastle, and he'd be in play in all formats if he's able to return.
