Romelu Lukaku, Forward, Manchester United

Salary: $11,000

With Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial likely out for the Red Devils, Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez ($9,500) will have a big opportunity to lead the United attack against Palace. Lukaku has the second-lowest FanDuel average among the 12 forwards listed at or above $10,000, and he has failed to place a shot on target in four of his last nine Premier League matches, averaging 9.54 FanDuel points over that span with four starts.

The Red Devils are a slight favorite over the Eagles, and the match has a 52.4% chance of going over 2.5 goals, according to oddsmakers. Palace have allowed the fifth-fewest goals (12) at home this season, including fewer than two goals in nine of their last 11 home matches. Against the forward position, the Eagles have allowed the third-fewest shots (1.87) per 90 minutes since Matchweek 20 while allowing the ninth-fewest shots (343) to all positions this season.

Lukaku has scored eight Premier League goals this campaign and has a 37.1% chance of finding the back of the net, according to oddsmakers. However, he has not recorded more than 25% of United’s shots in a single match all season while reaching at least 20% of their shots in six matches, doing so just once since Matchweek 7 as Rashford has relegated the Belgian to a bench role.

If DFS players are looking to access the Red Devils’ attack, Paul Pogba ($9,500) should be that option as he has averaged 23% of the team’s shots and could play a larger role due to the injuries while Sanchez will offer a discount off Lukaku.
