Salomón Rondón, Forward, Newcastle

FanDuel Price: $8,500

Let's get this out of the way -- it's an ugly slate all the way around. With that said, it's also a unique one and allows us to have some fun by building lineups that we'd otherwise never consider.

For the most part, ownership shouldn't be too much of a concern this week due to a lack of big-name studs. The two exceptions may be Jamie Vardy ($10,500) and Wilfried Zaha ($12,500). Each has some name recognition, and the two could push to be the highest-owned player on the slate. But neither is very consistent on a week-to-week basis, so they aren't difficult fades if you want to go that route.

Stop me if you've heard this before -- this is the week to roster Newcastle players. Oh, you haven't heard that?

Jokes aside, the Magpies are in a great spot at home versus Huddersfield, and Rondón is expected to start at striker. Really, it doesn't matter who Newcastle go with up top -- could be Ayoze Pérez ($9,500) with Miguel Almirón ($5,500) as a second striker, the latter of whom will be very popular if he starts -- we're going to want exposure to them.

That's because Huddersfield are bad. They've allowed 48 goals in 26 matches overall, and they've been especially bad in their travels, conceding 26 times in 12 away matches.

While Newcastle are by no means a potent attacking team, they have scored five goals in their last two home matches (Cardiff and Manchester City). Rondón had a goal and an assist over those two home matches, and he'll have a great chance to contribute to a goal if he starts Saturday.
