4 FanDuel Premier League Trends to Exploit for Matchweeks 27 and 28
Looking for offense from defenders may be better than searching for a clean sheet as trends evolve for Matchweeks 27 and 28 in the Premier League.

Clean Sheets Are Unpredictable

This likely comes as no surprise. However, it does take one element of roster creation out allowing FanDuel players to fret over other stats. A clean sheet is 10 points for a keeper while defenders get five bonus points. A shut out helps, but given their irregularity it is just a big bonus to push you higher in the money.

The analysis by Fantasy Football Scout is done in regard to season-long fantasy EPL, but it can translate to FanDuel. Liverpool is the only team with a shut out at least 50% of the time. Other teams in the top six of the table follow Liverpool, but they have all conceded to teams that many consider lesser opponents such as Cardiff, Newcastle, and Fulham. Many FanDuel players will look at the match up and take the top team's keeper, but it has not necessarily paid off.

A shot on goal is also five points while a chance created is three. It is a more solid decision to target offensive-minded defenders that can create on teams that should have more possession. Styles of play and top-quality players make it easier to predict possession, but even the teams sitting in the relegation zone can find a breakthrough. Therefore, getting points from chances and shots is a better option.
