The 23rd main slate of the season is highlighted by an afternoon clash between Chelsea and Arsenal, in which Blues are slight road favorites. Liverpool are the largest favorite on the slate, with an implied win probability of 84.6%, at home against Crystal Palace. Manchester United are close behind, with an implied win probability of 79.2% at home against Brighton.
Rounding out the favorites are Watford, with an implied win probability of 61.5% at home against Burnley, and Newcastle, with an implied win probability of 51.2% at home against Cardiff. In the two remaining matches, Everton are the slightest of favorites in a pick em' on the road against Southampton, and Bournemouth are slight favorites in a pick em' at home against West Ham.
With Liverpool and Manchester United in excellent spots, both will be popular this weekend. However, despite Liverpool being the larger favorite, Manchester United's stars are likely to carry higher ownership based on recent form and their lower salaries. Up front, Marcus Rashford ($12,500), Romelu Lukaku ($11,500), and Anthony Martial ($10,500) are all cheaper than Roberto Firmino ($13,000), and in the midfield, Paul Pogba ($10,500) is $2,000 less than Mohamed Salah ($12,500).
Despite their recent form, Liverpool's outlook is just as bright as Manchester United's this weekend. If choosing between the two for tournaments this weekend, consider paying up slightly for the likely lower ownership on the Reds.
