Robert Snodgrass, Midfielder, West Ham

Salary: $8,500

The midfield position this week is loaded with talented options in good spots. Eden Hazard ($9,500) has been priced down due to his matchup, and Jesse Lingard ($9,000), Richarilson ($9,000), Felipe Anderson ($9,000), and Abdoulaye Doucoure ($8,500) all have favorable outlooks. Next to that group, Snodgrass seems out of place at $8,500, but based on his matchup and the potential absence of Marko Arnautovic ($10,500), his opportunity is similar.

After a run of games that saw him produce FanDuel point totals of 34.6, 34.2, 32.5, 19.6, and 10.2, Snodgrass has seen his minutes limited over his last three matches. After making an appearance as a substitute in West Ham's victory over Arsenal last weekend, Snodgrass is likely to be well rested and ready to return to his usual role, which saw him make 10 consecutive starts from October to December and play the full 90 in all but two of them.

That role is valuable against a Bournemouth side that has conceded 16 goals in their last 6 matches, and 12 goals in their last 6 home matches, both Premier League highs for that span. While those numbers include a 5-0 defeat to Tottenham and a 4-1 defeat to Manchester United, Bournemouth's last two matches saw them allow three goals to Watford and two to Everton. West Ham, on the other hand, has been surprisingly good on the road lately, with nine goals scored in their last six matches. At a fraction of his teammate Felipe Anderson's likely ownership, Snodgrass is worth considering for tournaments this weekend.
