Willian, Midfielder, Chelsea

Salary: $9,000

Willian is the fourth-highest priced midfielder on the slate, and he has averaged 16.25 FanDuel points this season -- the lowest average among midfielders priced at or above $9,000.

Coming off a minor knock that forced him out early in Chelsea’s previous Premier League match, Willian was able to start the Blues’ Carabao Cup match against Chelsea -- playing 63 minutes -- but failed to play in the FA cup match last weekend.

Per betting odds, the Blues have a 95.2% chance of finding the back of the net -- something they have failed to do in two straight Premier League matches at Stamford Bridge -- and Willian has a 31.1% chance of finding the back of the net, and the Blues should have a large possession advantage against the Magpies.

Newcastle have allowed the sixth-most chances created (211) and fifth-most shots (300) to all positions but have played well on the road, conceding the fifth-fewest away goals (12) this season.

Mohamed Salah ($12,500) and Eden Hazard ($11,500) are considerably more expensive than the other midfielders, but Willian has failed to played a full 90 in 14 of his 18 starts, and coming off the minor knock will likely be subbed off at some point, which will limit his ceiling. The $8,500 price-point, just below Willian, does offer a number of midfielders in perceived plus matchups with a small amount of savings for the DFS player.
