Ayoze Perez, Forward, Newcastle United

Salary: $11,000

Perez is tied with Tottenham’s Lucas Moura as the third-highest priced forward, and he has averaged 14.25 FanDuel points this season. Perez has scored over 20 FanDuel points in four straight starts, while averaging 22.8 FanDuel points over that span, but has scored over 25 FanDuel points in just one match this season.

The Magpies are the slight underdog against the Terriers at Kirklees Stadium, per FanDuel Sportsbook, and the match has a 65.5% probability of going under 2.5 goals. Perez has placed nine shots on target in his 13 starts this season, but only notched multiple shots in one of those starts. He has a 23.3% chance of finding the back of the net, per oddsmakers.

Huddersfield have allowed the fifth-most goals this season (27), including 10 on their home pitch, and have given up the eighth-most chances created (157) and ninth-fewest shots (200) to all positions this season while allowing the ninth-fewest chances created (63) and fifth-fewest shots (78) to all positions since Matchweek 10.

Perez’s floor comes from his ability to create chances and pick up a few defensive statistics in the midfield and that performance is fine for cash lineups. However, with the forwards around him -- Harry Kane ($14,000), Chicharito ($11,500) and Aleksndar Mitrovic ($10,500) -- all seemingly in better matchups, and all having shown a high ceiling this year, Perez should be avoided in large-field tournaments.
