Jamie Vardy, Forward, Leicester City

Salary: $11,000

Vardy is tied with Brighton’s Glenn Murray as the fifth-highest priced forward on the slate, and he has averaged 15.6 FanDuel points this season. Over his previous six matches (four starts), Vardy has scored over 20 FanDuel points once -- as a substitute -- while averaging 11.51 FanDuel points over that span.

The Foxes are the favorite against the Hornets at King Power Stadium, per FanDuel Sportsbook, and the match has a 55.4 % probability of going under 2.5 goals. Vardy has scored four goals this season, including just one on his home pitch, and he has a 45.5% chance of finding the back of the net, per oddsmakers.

Watford have allowed 17 goals this season including six away from Vicarage Road, allowing more than one goal in just one of their six road matches. Watford have allowed the fifth-fewest goals (134) to all positions this season while allowing the fewest shots (1.56) per 90 minutes to forwards over the last five matchweeks.

Vardy has tournament-winning upside as he is always a threat to score multiple goals, and he is responsible for 22.2% of the Foxes’ goals this season. Vardy has placed more than one shot on target in three matches this season, including just one match against a club currently in the top-10, and now faces a Hornets’ squad that currently sits in ninth. The forwards priced above Vardy seem to be in more favorable matchups while Murray -- at the same price point -- should have an opportunity for a higher ceiling.
