Glenn Murray, Forward, Brighton

Salary: $8,500

Murray has a tendency to go overlooked on every slate he's on, let alone on a slate with numerous attacking options on elite sides. That should be the case this weekend, as his price of $8,500 isn't low enough for him to be earmarked as a popular value option. He falls in the salary sweet spot well below stud options and right above value plays that should see him fly under-the-radar at home this weekend.

What Murray lacks in flash and style at his age, he makes up for in production, specifically when he's playing at home. While his recent road performances have been dismal, producing an average of 4 FanDuel points in his last two matches, his home performances have been consistently solid. In his three home matches against non-elite sides this season, he has four goals, eleven shots, and three chances created. In those matches, he produced an average FanDuel point total of 33.5.

Murray's trend of performing better at home is shared by Brighton as a whole. As has been noted in this piece before, Brighton was the worst team on the away table last season and the eighth best on the home table. This season that trend has continued, and they are fifteenth on the away table and eighth on the home table. On the other side of the pitch, Leicester is among the best away sides in the league this season, but are still allowing an average of 1.6 goals per match. On a slate where high priced attacking options are likely to be popular, Murray represents a way to save salary and create a unique line up while also taking advantage of a trend that has lasted for almost a season and a half.
