Harry Kane, Forward, Tottenham

Salary: $13,000

Kane is the top-priced player on the slate, and he has averaged 19.69 FanDuel points through 10 matches. But after averaging 47.95 in Matchweek’s 6 and 7, Kane’s FanDuel production has declined in each of his last three matches while averaging 7.5 FanDuel points over that span, despite facing two clubs in the bottom-half of the table.

The Spurs have a 45.5% chance of beating Wolves, per implied odds at Paddy Power, and the match has a 52.4% chance of totaling over 2.5 goals. Despite failing to record a shot on target in his previous two Premier League matches (three shots), Kane’s anytime goal-scoring probability is set at 50%.

Wolves have not allowed more than one goal in eight straight Premier League matches, including matches against both Manchester squads over that span, and have not allowed many shots this season. They have allowed the sixth-fewest shots (109) and fourth-fewest goals (8) to all positions this season, while allowing the second-fewest shots (1.62) per 90 minutes to forwards.

Kane has scored four goals on the road this season compared to just one on his home pitch, but three of those away goals have come against Huddersfield and Brighton. Kane offers tournament-winning upside, as he showed in Matchweek 6 and 7, but it comes at a price, which may restrict roster construction for DFS players. West Ham’s Marko Arnautovic ($11,000) may offer the same floor as Kane in what should be a more favorable match for forwards against the Clarets.
