Jamie Vardy, Forward, Leicester City

Salary: $11,000

On what is sure to be a very emotional day for those in attendance and those watching around the world following recent events, Leicester City will visit Cardiff this weekend. Vardy will likely make his return to the starting lineup after coming on as a substitute last weekend due to illness. After going without a goal in October, this is an excellent spot for Vardy to break his current drought.

With 11 goals allowed in 5 away matches, Cardiff is conceding over 2 goals per match on the road this season. Leicester have been excellent in front of goal against non-elite sides this season, finding the back of the net in each of their 7 games, and averaging 1.85 goals per match. The last time Leicester played a team with a defensive track record as poor as Cardiff was against Huddersfield in September. In that match, Vardy tallied a goal and an assist, producing 45.6 FanDuel points. A similar outlook could be in the cards for this weekend.

From an ownership perspective, Vardy could go slightly overlooked due to his price and recent goal-scoring drought. At $11,000, Vardy is only $500 less than in-form Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ($11,500) and Roberto Firmino ($11,500), and $1,000 more than Alexandre Lacazette ($10,000). If he comes in even slightly lower-owned than those three, he will be an excellent option for tournaments this weekend, as his in-game outlook is much better than that trio.
