Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Midfielder, Southampton

Salary: $7,000

Saying Southampton's start to the season has been a rough one would be an understatement. Rolling over their form from last season, they have one win through nine games and have scored only six goals. One bright spot has been the play of Hojbjerg, who has found some success operating in the center of Southampton's 4-4-2 formation.

He has two goals on the season, and he has FanDuel point totals of 16.4 and 24.7 in his last two matches, with 3 chances created, 2 shots on goal, 7 fouls drawn and 11 tackles made. With the two worst backlines in the Premier League in action (Fulham and Cardiff) on this slate, Southampton's meeting with Newcastle might go overlooked.

Newcastle are one of only two teams without a win this season, and while they have been strong defensively, they average a dismal 38.9% possession on the road. They have conceded only three away goals this season, but they allow opponents to control the ball in their third of the pitch 32% of the time, the second-most in the league. They also spend the second-fewest amount of time (24%) in the opposing final third.

Newcastle are a side that is flirting with disaster, and their goals conceded should eventually catch up to their play. If that happens this weekend, it will be to the benefit of a likely low-owned Southampton side.
