4 FanDuel Premier League Value Plays for Matchweek 9
Lukasz Fabianski has displayed both a solid floor and ceiling versus top teams, and West Ham will be up against Spurs. Which other low-cost players should you look to?

Defender - Erik Durm, Huddersfield ($4,500)

Durm looked like a good signing for Huddersfield, but he has dealt with injuries to start the season. Now he gets to face a Liverpool squad dealing with their own injuries. The right-back will likely not have to deal with Sadio Mane ($9,000), which is a huge relief for Huddersfield fans and a bump in Durm's value.

Durm is clearly still getting his feet under him in the Premier League. He has had two 10.8-FanDuel-point games in four appearances. He averages just over four defensive actions per game while also averaging close to one shot, one key pass, and one drawn foul. The offensive numbers are on par with his playing history, but the defensive numbers are all below his production in the Bundesliga over the past four seasons.

Durm should remain active on the defensive end, but with Liverpool having injury issues, he should maintain his offensive statistics. Even without Mane, Liverpool should still own possession, and they have enough talent to threaten time and again. It is worth noting that teammate Florent Hadergjonaj is $500 cheaper and has a similar defensive upside but little offensive ability.
