3 FanDuel Premier League Trends to Exploit for Matchweek 9
The international break usually means more scrutiny of domestic leagues the following weekend, but that is not the case in a top-heavy Premier League.

Matchups Overshadow International Play

Generally there needs to be a closer examination of rosters for potential injuries and lineup shuffling after an international break. That is not the case this weekend simply because so many of the matchups have a clear favorite. Only three of the seven matches do not have a heavy favorite, but that could move to just two as numbers are moving in favor of Bournemouth against Southampton.

The only team outside of the top seven that has a two-game winning streak is Everton, so it is no surprise that those from the top seven on the slate are favored. Some of the projected win percentages are staggering based off of Paddy Power's odds. Manchester City have over a 90% implied win probability against Burnley, Liverpool have an 80% win probability versus Huddersfield, and Tottenham and Wolverhampton are also favored.

Mohamed Salah's injury is worth noting, but the international break should not impact the slate enough to overlook the odds.
