Everton and Bournemouth Have a History That May Trump Good Form

Bournemouth and Everton have started the season well. Both have scored four goals, with Everton on four points, while Bournemouth have taken all six. Everton have allowed two more goals.

Each team has also had a standout attacker and defender through the first two weeks. Michael Keane ($6,000) and Richarlison ($10,500) are the standouts for Everton. Richarlison's 42 points per match leads all players, and he could match Romelu Lukaku as the only player to score in his first three matches with the team.

Steve Cook ($6,500) and Callum Wilson ($8,500) are Bournemouth's scoring leaders. Cook scored a goal in the last match, while Wilson has scored in both games this season.

What makes this more complex is the history of the two teams. Everton have not beaten Bournemouth on the road, while Bournemouth lead the league in earned points from a losing position dating back to last season. Winning the first three matches of the season in the Premier League is foreign territory for the Cherries, but form and head-to-head history is on their side.
