What SURE FIRE handcuffs need to be owned?
I'm not a fan of handcuffs personally because they hold up a bench spot, but I just got Deangelo Williams in a trade because I have Leveon because he is a sure fire starter should something happen to Bell.

BUT I'm tempted to drop him for waiver add.

Do you handcuff your top RBs or look to add a waiver add that could possible be a starter in time?

Also, what surefire handcuffs are out there? It used to be Knile, but he got beat by West. Are Starks and DeAngelo only ones?

Rawls and Karlos Williams are the obvious choices, though they're probably taken in all leagues at this point.

Worth consideration because they play behind injury prone backs are Ryan Mathews and Alfred Blue. If you have a low upside bench player, these guys are probably worth rostering because we have already seen what their workloads would be if they became starters.

More interestingly, Jeremy Langford of the Bears. He comes with the bonus prospect of gaining a starting role if Matt Forte is hurt OR traded, with the latter possibility not really existing for other RB1's.

I have Mathews already, but great point, that's why I drafted him. I hate Matt Jones and he's on my team. I was thinking of getting Langford, but do you think the Bears REALLY trade Forte?

In all honesty, no I don't. But at the same time, I also doubt that the Bears want to give a price multi-year extension to a 30 year old back, so if they can get a 2nd or even 3rd rounder for Forte I think the might consider it in what's becoming a lost season. Granted, there aren't many championship contending teams in need of a feature back, but the Cowboys and Panthers both come to mind. I still don't think they're going to trade him. I'm probably just going to watch this from afar and laugh at whatever the Bears do.
