Tight Ends?
My starting tight end is Martellus Bennett, who should be a mid tier guy, but what I'm looking to know is if I should bother stashing a potential break out TE like Eifert, Ebron, or Rudolph, or if I should grab Gates for when he comes back, or whether Bennett by himself should get me through the season.
The only bench spot I could give up is if i drop Bridgewater (Stafford is my starting QB and the waiver wire is very dry, everyone decided they needed to take a bunch of qbs early in the draft)
Is it worth stashing one of these backup tight ends or should I use it for a different position?

How 'dry' is the QB pool? And, if everyone in your league took a back-up TE, chances are, if you drop one, you could maybe get him back. Gates/Bennett maybe pretty nice for you. The 4 games off, plus bye, for Gates, may keep him fresh.

Top options aside from Teddy are Kaep, Palmer, Flacco, Dalton, Cutler. Everyone has two of three on their roster, i was honestly lucky to get Stafford and I had to reach. And thats what I'm thinking too, but I'll need a backup QB week 4 when stafford plays Seattle and week 9 when he has a bye and he could probably be replaced other weeks too.

Bennett should be top 5-10 TEs unless he gets hurt or the Bears offense struggles, but I would bet on the former.
He looked good last year and they lost Marshall, so more targets for Bennett.
Up to you, if you want to drop Teddy for a maybe possible TE1-2. Good luck man!
