optimal lineups
i am new to this site and was wondering about the optimal lineups. Today was my first day and i got the lineup and thought it was pretty good. so i played in 4-5 head up games. Won all of them, so good job today. But i am looking at the one for tomorrow, and it doesn't look like i could come in 100th out of 50 players. I know these lineups aren't going to be 100% guaranteed highest lineups of the day and i see there is the custom part for us to change what we want to change on it(which i like). i also see the rankings, and im guessing the op lineup is from these rankings. But people like glen davis scoring 20 points??? i dont think hes scored 10 points since being traded. so i guess my question is does the site every update the players projected points for how they are playing on that day such as vs this opp team, at that time, with those people hurt, home/ away........etc.. the site i play on gives me their avg points per game, but that doesnt help me with what they are going to score that day. just seems that i can get this for free from the site im playing on. I was thinking when i paid for this that there were going to be some people behind the scenes working to get me the best lineup that was projected for that day.(and i know that wouldnt always be the case but at least close to work with). Plus when i exclude davis it was giving me eric gordon instead. i'm not sure he is even playing tomorrow.
I dont know maybe im missing something. If so, please let me know, because i sure dont think i can roll that lineup out tomorrow without getting laughed at and coming in dead last in everything i play.

2Keith Goldner (815 Reputation Points)The projections are updated throughout the day for news and injuries, the earlier in the morning you are looking at them, the more you will find initial errors due to previous playing time issues. The best time to look at the optimal lineup is as you get closer to tip time. Also, as you mentioned, the custom optimal lineup is perfect for your request as you can exclude or include any number of players that you want or don't want in your lineup.2 Comments↳Jason Paradise (500 Reputation Points)Just to follow up on what Keith said, which is 100% correct, the projections are updated throughout the day based on news that comes in.
