Better RB/WR combo going forward?
Would you rather have McGahee and Welker or Forte and Jordy going forward? It's non ppr. Denver's schedule is one of the easiest and Peyton gets them inside RZ a lot now and Welker seems to be Welker again. Jordy was hot the last 2 weeks but will he continue? Forte is solid, but Bush poaches td's and they don't throw to him as much as in the past. Thoughts?

Health obviously is the key here. If Jordy plays Sunday and can move past this injury than I take that side no question. But if they announce that Jordy can't go, and this thing lingers than you would really have to consider the other side. As George mentioned, McGahee gives way to Hillman now, and his fumbling issues may bring that on even more. John Fox loves Hillman and I expect to see him getting a lot more touches. I would stick to the Forte Nelson side, and hope that Hammy gets better.

I honestly just don't trust McGahee. Sooner or later that ship is going to sink. And I do know Welker has Brady but look at all the other weapons Brady has in Gronk and Lloyd and even Hernandez from time to time. Forte is just about their whole offense when he's healthy and with Greg Jennings being out, Jordy is WR1. I like Jordy and Forte a lot more than Welker and McGahee.

Even with Jennings there, you can argue that Jordy is 1A. Jordy/Forte is definitely the better side.

I hate to say it but this is a toss-up to me. Sure Bush might vulture a TD but McGahee gives way to Hillman every now and then too. Welkers fortune hinges on whether Gronk and Hernandez are healthy. When they are, he gets fewer looks. Jordy has a hammy problem and those tend to linger. THAT might push it over to McGahee/Welker.

Hernandez will be back sooner than Jennings. And even if they came back the same time, Hernandez will have more of an impact on Welker's numbers than Jennings will on Nelson. Jennings will just draw coverage away from Nelson, actually helping him. Rodgers will still go his way a ton. Hernandez will draw targets away from Welker.

This is a pretty fair trade I think. Both sides get good combos. At first glance for me, it was Nelson/Forte easily. And even after thinking about it, there's MUCH more upside with that group.
