2Ryan Lim (500 Reputation Points)It all depends on how you view Antonio Gates for the rest of the year. Ridley is a great upgrade over SJax, whose schedule is brutal and who's losing touches to D. Richardson by the day. You're also upgrading Bowe to Nelson- KC is not looking pretty with Brady Quinn driving the bus, and Nelson gets plenty of looks in the GB pass-first offense. In a PPR, Hartline, while not nearly as talented as Smith, has tremendous value; with CAR's offense sputtering and MIA coming off a bye, I can see Hartline continuing solid production (targets/yards-wise, TDs maybe not so much). So it comes down to Gonzo, who is the best player in the deal- with Gates you're not hurting, but the deal does favor the other manager. I would do the trade if the other manager threw in someone with upside but hasn't produced (like a RB handcuff-type) or a marginal player who's playing over his head right now (Andre Roberts-type). 0Aidan Milburn (500 Reputation Points)I don't like getting rid of Gonzalez. You do get better at WR and RB, but I don't like losing Gonzalez to have Gates as your TE. It's a pretty close trade, but I feel it would be worth it. Steve smith has done nothing, and with Quinn at QB it's hard to trust Bowe. I'm not a huge fan of hartline either, but Ridley is a step up from SJax. Keep in mind how the Chargers tend to pick it up in the second half of the season, but I think I would probably do this trade.
