Which RB do I trade, AP or Charles?

I have a deal worked out with someone in my league, but I have an option on giving up one of two RBs in the trade. These RBs are Adrian Peterson and Jamaal Charles. My league is a 1.0 PPR and standard everywhere else except for bonuses with 100+ yard games. Currently AP is top 5 and Charles is top 7 or 8. In the trade I give AP/Charles, Wayne, and Antonio Gates, and receive Arian Foster, Larry Fitzgerald, and Heath Miller.
My RBs: AP, Charles, Shonn Greene, Rashard Mendenhall
My WRs: Megatron, Reggie Wayne, Percy Harvin, Antonio Brown
My TEs: Brandon Pettigrew and Anotonio Gates
There is very little chance of talking me out of the trade (the exception is if someone is injured). I want a full response, not AP or Charles, on this question.

Getting Foster is fine but he isn't so far ahead of AP and Charles to make this worthwhile. You are weakening your RB stable there. Also your WR are fine as well. I really wouldn't do this. Think you are giving away too much. How big is the league? Is there no way you can drop Pettigrew and find a serviceable WR or RB for byes?

I agree. Gates is through his bye week already and there are plenty of TE's that are on the same level as Pettigrew if Gates goes down. Trading AP is nothing that should ever be done if you have him as far as I'm considered and giving up Charles you would be trading away players who have all gone through bye weeks already for ones that are still having bye weeks to come. Wayne leads the league in targets, 10 more then Fitz even after sitting the bye week, and his situation fantastic compared to Fitz.

my heart says keep ap - but the chefs have a great rest of season sched. - 3rd to minny's 21st. and while i'm a vikings fan - i would maybe lean keeping charles here and maybe asking a bit more from your trade. i will say that maybe you drop the wayne/fitz. personel - i believe wayne well outproduces fitz. for the rest of the season. i could give up ap and gates with maybe a throw in brown to get miller/foster - or keep gates and go brown, ap for foster. botto line for me - i think defenses will realize ponder is no threat and they need to stop peterson. i also love charles sched. from here. but i'm not in love with fitz's sched. or situation - esp. vs. wayne's. you can afford to give up brown based on your depth and bye's - so i would suggest the brown-ap for foster thing first. but your trade dynamic might suggest otherwise. good luck however you go john
