Edited Update Below: What improvements should I be trying to work on (roster below)?
It's a .5 ppr and 1 qb, 2wr, 2rb, 1te, wr/rb, k, def league I planned on dropping Gould and cowboys defense. What moves should I be making? Starters are: aaron rodgers, percy harvin, wes welker, Maurice Jones-drew, Shonn green, aaron hernandez, vincent jackson, Robbie gould, and cowboys def. Bench is james jones, andy dalton, donald brown, legarrette blount, atlanta Def (bye), matt bryant (bye). Edit Update: I dropped bryant for tanner and it is a 12 person league and I'm in a Yahoo league. The "Trade Evaluator" that yahoo has also makes it more difficult. Know any players whose projections are super-under rated that I could get a deal for? CJ Spiller comes to mind.

only thing I might do this week is play Blount over Greene for red-zone/goal line carries.. as for moves I would play Jones hot hand right now for a better back-up RB.. Maybe throw in Blount as well in what ever trade you do..

Yahoo "trade evaluator" keeps projecting jones points to be low. What's a good trade for jones w/ blount?

yeah that may be true.. but most people look at past production and Schedule in trades and he has had about 15 points in last 3 weeks. also never hurts to offer a trade!! 2 rb;s i would want are Forte or Charles, but that is unlikely.. Ryan Mathews may be more realistic. Maybe Bush.. go for a team that's very weak at WR.

Well starting with Qb, you don't need Dalton. Bengals play Giants during rodgers bye week, which isn't a great matchup. Unless you're in a big league where there are few QB's on the waiver wire, drop him or maybe there is a guy in your league who could use him in a bye week or his QB's suck and trade to him. You need help at running back pretty bad, and after this week drop Gould and Cowboys D, Atlanta and Bryant are good enough. But seriously your RB's need help, I might even trade Rodgers. look for the owner of a pretty good QB like Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, even Eli possibly, who has good RB's and depth in that position. Offer him Rodgers and one of your Rb's (not MJD) for his pretty good QB and a pretty good RB. In my opinion, a perfect one for you would be Rodgers and Greene (coming off that huge game last week) for Manning and T-rich, or DMC, or or Morris. He would like that cuz it's Manning's bye week this week, and you could play Dalton who has a nice matchup at home this week.

The guy with brady only has adrian peterson. The guy with peyton has CJ Spiller, matt forte, and darren sproles. What's a good trade for me?

Brady and Peterson would help. In your situation, I would try Rodgers and Blount for Brady and Peterson. Then try Rodgers and Greene

Need to work on your RB2 like everyone mentions. Although I do see Blount making a run at his old starting job. I love Doug Martin, but Blount is in shape and will definitely take the RedZone handles. So he may work out for you later on down the road...

Also I'd keep Atlanta on for next week, then drop Dallas like you mentioned. I'd drop Dallas now and grab Oakland if they are still out there.

I guess I was planning on keeping atl for the duration. Had baltimore originally and dropped them to pick up atl.

Your set at wideout, but if you could flip Jones for a better RB2 then I think you should go for it. Most guys are better than Shonn Greene.

I was thinking about when greg jennings would come back his touches would go down? So maybe it is a good time to trade him?

Harvin and Welker and are solid at WR in a ppr. Your RB's are little lacking. Greene went off last week, but you and I have a better chance of hooking up with Victoria Secret models then him continuing on that path. MJD, can't be anny worse can he. Maybe move Dalton, and Jones for a rb2 type. Suggesting trades iis always tough to recomend because most people I fiind can't process a trade. They always value their stiff higher than he is worth, while under valuing the guy you are trading. So for me to suggest a trade might be pointless. Plus, this close to game time tomorrow, people wont hit accept until after they get that knee jerk reaction after the games. Maybe if Vincent Jackson has a big game tomorrow, you can trade him for a Rb2...your team looks fine. And again, only one kicker, even iif he is on a bye.

Dropped bryant and picked up tanner. Try to trade green, dalton and either jackson or jones for a good Rb2 like marshawn lynch, mendenhall, michael turner?

Drop Bryant and get Tanner or Woodhead. Bolden is out so Woodhead will get more.

Don't carry two kickers or two defenses, drop Gould/Cowboys after this week. I'd work on RB2. Greene/Brown doesn't look good there, so I'd see if you would sell high on James Jones for an RB.

I guess what's troublesome is that both jones and jackson only get like 5 catches a game, but they both keep getting 2 tds a game so they're scoring a lot, but I feel like a down game would really be a down game ( like 3 catches 40 yards)

never carry two kickers...never ever...ever...ever..ever.....pickup some second striing rb and hope he gets to play. Maybe Tanner for the Cowboys. Felix Jones is going to fall down and not get up.

Good points. Lots of feeling Tanner could be sneaky pick up.

Agree about kicker. Also don't see need to carry 2 QB if one is as good as Rodgers. Can always pick a serviceable QB from WW. That would make room for 2 extra players. Unless you are in a v deep league.
