0Tieg Gonzalez (500 Reputation Points)Its a coin toss for week 7, but like Tom mentioned above, Stafford has a higher ceiling. I have both on my team and have thought about starting Dalton over Stafford all week, but since they both have late games, Dalton on Sunday night, Stafford on Monday, Im going to make my decision right before the Sunday night game. This way I can get an idea of how many more points I would need to either take or secure the lead.

When choosing between two players, I value upside as my number one factor, hot hand as a secondary indicator and opponent to a smaller extent. Stafford's main drawback has been health, but he has been in a bit of a funk this season. Stafford has shown his considerable upside in streaks and those streaks are enough to carry a team. Both have legitimate targets. In an nutshell, Stafford has been underachieving, Dalton overachieving. Stafford is my choice.1 Comment↳Andy Cochrane (110 Reputation Points)I can see why you say that. This isn't a cut and dried decision. Stafford is obviously the better QB on paper. Dalton may end up that way. At present Stafford has had an uncertain season. It isn't going to get much easier going forward. I own Stafford in one league and am gong with him.

0Andy Cochrane (110 Reputation Points)There are some doubts around Stafford that make this close. Quality wise I would go Stafford as he is capable of a lot. However, Dalton has a better overall matchup this week. Just shade Dalton personally.
