Trade Peyton Manning for RB?
PPR league, 3 RBs start. I have RGIII at QB, MJD, Doug Martin, Alex Green, Leshoure. He has Romo, Dalton, Schaub, Foster, Spiller, Mendenhall, Steve Smith, Nicks, James Jones, Roddy White. RGIII has a week 10 bye week, in which week I have a very favorable matchup. Is there anyway I could snag Foster and one of his WRs for Peyton?

    I don't know about top 5, but definitely top 10. No way you'll get Arian Foster for him.

    No. That's crazy. If you're going to trade Manning you can do better than Spiller. I recognize that Spiller is more valuable in PPR, but, evenso, PPR-wise he's still no Darren Sproles.

    The guy also has Foster, but I don't know if he is willing to part with him. But his QB is Romo so he doesn't have much bargaining power, right?

    He is not really desperate for a QB with way Dalton has been playing.., It's also unlikely he will let go of Foster as he is the best point getter on his team.. It never hurts to offer the trade though.. there should always be a decent match-up left on the wires that week to fill in QB spot.

    He has no faith in Dalton, and always starts Romo over him. That's why I was thinking Manning for Foster and Dalton was plausible.

    In that case i can see Dalton Mannign easily.. foster is another deal though.. you may have to offer up more for him.. but like I said, never hurts to offer a trade.

    rg3 and manning means its time to make a move...doesnt mean you have to trade for the first offer though....get top tier value at the position you want for either qb, if not dont load someone elses roster just for the sake of trading

    you are going to need a qb off bye in week 10, unless u can get a good trade, top 10 rb, I woulnd't trade. but u do need a rb though.

    I agree with everyone saying thats stupid. You can get a way better rb for him, however it also depends on if other people in your league need a qb. if he is the only one and you need rb help, do it. you have rg3 anyway

    If you have RG3 as well and can only start 1 QB definitely trade one of them. Having QB's don't score much on your bench. From a risk management standpoint you might want to trade RG3 instead, and you may be able to get a better player in return. In terms of injuries RG3 looks like he could become the next Michael Vick at this point. Manning on the other hand has started every game of his career before missing all of last season. And you know Denver's going to continue to throw A LOT.

    I'd see what you can get for RG3 - see if you can find a sucker who'll give you a great RB/WR. If it comes down to it, trade him for Spiller, but you should be able to get more. And if you're left with only 1 QB you may want to keep the one that's less of an injury risk.

    Terrible trade..........I'd try for MJD, AP, Rice, Foster, Lynch, etc. If none of those.........hold........don't fold.

    My advice would be to look for whoever has CJ?K on their roster and try to snag him and a top-10 RB in a two-fer. But to answer your question: this is a bad trade. Wait for a better deal.

    you only ever do that trade if Fred Jackson is out for the season. You can get a much better RB, find someone who is in trouble at QB, like Rivers, or even Stafford. But make sure you have a good backup for week 10 RG3's bye week
