TE and QB dilemmas
So, obviously by the title, I've got two positions I'm not sure about this week.
Granted, Vernon Davis is a top tier TE, but, he's playing Seattle, who have been playing some good defense, and, at least from what it looks like to me, have done a good job shutting down TE's. So, do I bank on Davis's skill and hope he comes through for me, or start Greg Olsen who's playing in Dallas?

Secondly, Stafford is playing in Chicago, and has played fair, but not outstanding, thus far. However, the Bears D being what it is, I don't know how confident I feel starting him. Carson Palmer is my number two guy right now. They're playing Jacksonville. Oakland doesn't have the best receiving corps, by any means, but Palmer still finds a way to put up decent numbers. My gut tells me to go with Palmer against the Jags, any good reasons I shouldn't?

I like Olsen against Dallas. It's probably the riskier play, but I think it would pay off. If you want to go with more a of sure thing, Davis could be the consistent choice.

Out of those two, I'd go with Palmer, basically for the reasons you said already. Additionally, if you have any room on your bench, I'd try to snag Hasselbeck who could be looking for a big week in Buffalo.

I'm in a 12 team league, so, unfortunately Hasselbeck got picked up about 2 weeks ago.

Ah, figures. In that case, still Palmer. The only team to really shut him down thusfar has been Denver, and J-ville is no Denver.
