Do I dump the Falcons D since they will be on bye this week and pick up Cowboys or Packers, or do I dump somebody else from my roster to pick up a D?

I think you keep the Falcons D and try and drop someone else from the roster if you just need to get by this week. The Falcons have a fairly easy schedule, especially considering they play in the NFC South. You may regret allowing someone else in your league to benefit from you dropping them this week.

I would personally consider dropping the Falcons D and going with matchups. Unless you have a truly elite D you want to keepin a bye the waiver wire can often be the best place to pick one up. Of course it depends on if there is a really good offensive player on the WW you prize over carrying 2 DST. If not keep them.

I am in the same situation and I think I'm going to hold on to them for their consistency. I had them as my 3rd ranked D and they haven't disappointed with the exception of Week 4. Problem is most of my team is on bye next week so my plan to drop Meachem may change if he does decent tonight

I'd keep the Falcons, they're a solid unit.

It depends on who you have on your roster, but I would normally lean towards just dumping the Falcons defense. It would be one thing if you had an elite defense like Chicago, but I think you can do as well as Atlanta by just picking one week be week (of course, there's a good chance the Falcons' defense will be there to pick up after the bye anyway).
