I would always play Brady over Luck. That isn't to say some weeks Luck won't out score him but Brady is the more likely in any given week.

if i draft a qb in the first round, i dont sit him based on matchups...if you are thinking about doing that, is he really worth a first rd pick? might toss him on the trade block if thats the case...i play brady except if he gets hurt or is on bye

I think even though the matchup doesn't seem as good as Lucks, it's still Brady we're talking about sitting. Besides, I thought the Jets defense did o.k. against the Texans Monday night, so they should be able to handle the Colts. Like everyone else says, it's hard to say sit Brady. Good luck with who ever you choose this week.

I think Luck is going to be a great one, but his team won't have two weeks to prepare for the Jets. Ballard is an unknown commodity right now; if he can get yards vs. the Jets, it should set up some nice play/action tosses for Luck.
Brady going to one of the most hostile environments in football--the crowd noise in Seattle is tops.
The Seahawks can stuff the run, which means more tosses for Brady. When he gets into a rhythm, he's one of the best. And unless Lynch can get his yards, the Pats should have plenty of possessions to adjust to the crowd noise.
Brady over Luck, but I think it will be close.

You can never sit Brady for Luck, regardless of matchup. The Seahawks are great against the run which will force the Patriots to throw it that much more. Don't expect 400 yards and 4 TD's, but I'd be surprised if Brady doesn't do considerably better than Luck.

Everything tells you Luck, but man is it hard to sit Brady! But looking at Brady's numbers, he's only had one impressive outing this year, while Luck has been solid and continues to improve. Imagine Luck in year three?! Patriots flying cross-country to one of the toughest stadiums to play at, and oh ya, rainy in Seattle, while sunny and 70 in New York. Start Luck.
