they have very similar sched. the rest of the way - so i can't favor one over the other there. they are both in offenses that don't depend on them so most defenses don't have them as their #1 who-to-stop options, so ... push. full disclosure - i'm having commitment issues with ridley too. the thing there is history says to procede with caution as belicek has been shannahan-esque with his rb's. - corey dillon notwithstanding. i will say that ridley has produced two strong games against defenses that would dictate otherwise. he takes pressure off brady - and for all the fumble/boldin/vareen talk - ridley is still there - in a top offense and no reason to think this won't continue. murray's biggest hurdle might be that the 'boys are still without any kind of offensive rythm or identity. this team should be able to score on the '85 bears (not those guys right now - that would just be mean) but they seem like they've never played together before. i can't argue too strongly against either, but i would lean ridley - i think his role is more defined than we all want to believe and the trend will likely continue with him. good luck ed

I pulled the trigger on a trade for Murray. I really like Murray as a buy low, but I totally see your point. I am a huge Patriots fan and it was definitely hard for me to let someone like Ridley go, but I am concerned about Belichik's games. I hope I made the right choice. In any case, I still have Ray Rice, Trent Richardson and BenGarbage Green-Ellis in a 3 RB league. So, I still feel good about the trade.

I like Murray better, his roll is more defined. Ridley has a few more fumbles and his touches could get limited. The cowboys need to run the ball, their o line should get a little better with the bye week allowing for some guys to get healthy again. I think Murray is the better option mainly due to the fact that he's got noone there to compete for his job, Felix isnt going to do anything that will force more touches.
