You get: Philip Rivers, Ryan Mathews, Percy Harvin

Unless your in trouble at RB, I wouldn't make this trade. Rivers is a fairly big downgrade from Newton and Harvin is a downgrade from Roddy. The only place your gaining is in getting Mathews (Often injured) for Chandler (Is about to disappear for the rest of the season). But just out of curiosity, what are your RB and WR situations looking like.

I have Adrian Peterson and Jonathan Stewart at RB - that's it. WR, I have Roddy White, Andrew Hawkins, Donnie Avery, Davone Bess... so I feel like I'm taking a loss at QB in exchange for a good 2nd RB. I've got Fitzpatrick on my bench for QB if Rivers doesn't work out.

It depends on your roster makeup and what your needs are. If you are weak at RB you might consider it. Harvin and Roddy are basically even (but Harvin is injury-prone) and Rivers might be an upgrade over Cam in the short-term only. Basically it's a wash except for Chandler-for-Matthews.

Who is your other QB? I think you are giving up too much with Roddy. See if you can get Harvin/Mathews for Cam/Chandler
