Sproles for T. Gonzalez? (PPR)
I've been offered T. Gonzalez for Darren Sproles in my PPR league. My TE play has been dreadful as I've had to rotate players in to the position starting with Cook and ending the past two weeks with Pitta. But I'm afraid of what this might do to my RB corp as I don't feel like I have a true every week starter there. Thoughts?
My other RB's are: Shady McCoy, CJ-2K, Spiller, J. Rodgers, Tate and Leshoure.
My only TE is Pitta.
Would you do it or just stick to the up and down of Pitta?

1Thomas Naughton (458 Reputation Points)Last year Sproles was a PPR gold mine, but has been a bit of a disappointment so far this year. Gonzo right now is playing like it's 2004, not 2012, and he leads all TEs in yards and targets, tied for first in TDs, and leads the league in receptions. I would do this in a heartbeat, then turn around and try and package guys like CJ, Spiller, and/or Tate for a good RB2. LeShoure should be consistently decent for the rest of the season, so don't worry too much. Now go hit accept and laugh at the idiot who offered you this trade.

1Dustin Wagner (493 Reputation Points)I do think this is a move I would make, you are in a PPR league, and for the Falcons, its Gonzalez 1 White 2 in terms of moving the chains through the air. Tony G will likely finish top 4 at TE this season, and is a massive upgrade over Pitta. Sproles does have a lot of value, but I think you can go with McCoy obviously, and then spot start CJ, Spiller, and Leshoure as needed. Good Luck.

0Anton Deljaj (500 Reputation Points)Easyyyy!!! Make the trade. Sproles is having a disappointing year whereas Gonzo is having one of the best years of his career (believe it or not). I dont see Matty Ice slowing down so I expect Gonzo to keep seeing those targets
