I need roster space, but am worried that he will be back soon.

    Well it depends on all lot of variables. How deep are your rb's? When do your playoffs start? If they start this week is there someone on your waiver wire that would be a benefit to your STARTING lineup?

    won't be this week. Twitter says he's been referred to a concussion specialists. 3 weeks now and still no resolution. Not looking good. That being said, who are you thinking of picking up?

    Check to see if you still can make trades first. Check waiver wires. Do you have any other wr's on your roster at all?

    I posted trades and checked the waiver wire, the only and I have no other healthy WR other than AJ Green. The only viable pick ups would be Avery, Givens, or Nate Washington.

    Both Givens and Avery are good pickups. P/U Givens drop McCoy. You'll want shorts/Nelson.

    It really depends on how far along he is in recovery.. last time I checked, he was still coming along very slowly. If Brown can continue to run the way he is.. there is no reason for Reid to rush McCoy back. If he is still suffering from dizziness at this point I don't think it looks good.

    If you really have nobody else to drop, I'd drop him. He's not going to help this week, probably not next week, if ever. If you don't get a solid WR replacement, nothing beyond this week matters, anyhow. Play to win this week, then think about next week.

    The other risk is he returns and helps someone else win, but thats unlikely, since Bryce Brown will likely still be involved heavily.
