Do I need insurance for Matt Ryan's shaky play? If so, Palmer or Wilson?
Have a bye this week and we don't do week 17, so I'm looking at:Ryan v. NYG, @ DET
Wilson @ BUF, v. SF
Palmer v. KC, @ CAR

0reignman (446 Reputation Points)i would pick up wilson as he's coming on strong. this week would not be a good time to play him. actually, i don't think i would ever sit ryan regardless of his matchup. but if he regresses to joe flacco's play, i would feel comfortable benching him for wilson. i prefer wilson over palmer because there has been talk of terrelle pryor getting some snaps since their season is over. plus, i like the rushing yards that wilson can put up.2 Comments↳Thomas Stark (500 Reputation Points)I haven't benched Matty all year but I can't afford another week game in the playoffs like he's had the last couple. I have a bye this week so I'm only looking at weeks 15 and hopefully 16.↳reignman (446 Reputation Points)the giants secondary is not great and ryan has julio, gonzalez, and white. tough to sit him when he has some of the best receivers in the game. i just play him the rest of the way. detroit has a bad secondary too.

But my thinking is that I'd only want to sit Ryan @ Detroit if I do at all, and Palmer @ Carolina is a much better matchup than Wilson v. SF's D. Playing the matchups, not the players.
