DMC, Reece, or Montell Owens?
I'm in need of a miracle to make the playoffs with a win this week and a couple of losses from other teams. I've held onto DMC for a while and have been able to capitalize on Reece taking over, but now I'm unsure whether or not to start DMC coming off an injury, play Reece, or throw a hail mary and run with Owens. I play in an ESPN standard scoring league

I like Green, but seems a little inconsistent, even if that's just due to the way Green Bay uses their RBs. I am also hesitant to go with Green, even though he is the starter, given that Green Bay rushed to get Ryan Grant when Green was going to be elevated to that number 1 role with Starks injured.

0jcrom (394 Reputation Points)DMC. I have McFadden also and if you're like me you can't afford to be conservative and not start him. I've got a tought opponent and getting 5 points from a replacement is not gonna cut it. He's as likely to get 5 as Owens or Reece is and much more likely to get 20. Anyway, I imagine Reece returning to his role as a FB catching passes out of the backfield and getting the occasional carry. He's earned that. Definitely not Owens though. Can't trust a 4th string guy. He's that low on the depth chart for a reason. Side note: Denver LB Woodyard is out who leads the team in tackles. They have two veterans to fill the role but its my belief that if they're made to cover DMC, who's a pretty good pass catcher out of the backfield, that he could get some big gains. I'd drop Owens and get Green if I were you. Green has raw talent (good speed score) and was a good pass catcher out of Hawaii. The knocks on him is that he has bad pad level for a guy his size, which means he runs too high so that when he gets hit he has a tendency to be stopped. A positive spin on that is when he is stopped its not due to a lack of effort though; he keeps pushing and can get some yard by moving a pile with his strength. He's looked average early but had a good game last week as far as YPC so I am hesitant to start him (though I may have to in addition to DMC). Still would rather start McFadden over him if I have other good options (obviously be sure he's active).
