What do I do with Vernon Davis?!
Ok, Vernon is my dude. He is one of my favorite players on my favorite team (except the Browns, but I it's hard being a C town fan). He looked good in the beginning of the year then faded out, when Kap started I saw that Vernon had some hope to get back in his stride. But that only lasted one game, and wouldn't ya know I benched him that week he decided to get points. If I want to win the playoff I need a flex that doesn't put up only a few points a week. Should I keep my faith in him? Or start Blackmon or James Jones in his place? My other TE is Gonzalez, so I'm keeping him there.

0Anthony Best (381 Reputation Points)I feel same way you do about Vernon. Love him and my 9ers, but in fantasy, I'd bench him.. play someone else. he may get another good game, but too much of a gamble this late in season.

0Tom Olp (500 Reputation Points)Jones is definitely a better option than those two. Unless you have two consistent tight ends and not many other options, you don't start two tight ends. Jones has been WAY more consistent than Blackmon this season, so it's not a questions between those two.

0RANDALL SENN (540 Reputation Points)Hard to trust Blackmon. One and 1/2 big games all year. Jordy Nelson tweaked his hammy again and according MM's press conference today, he'll be "hard pressed to play Sunday." That leaves Jones as a better option than the others. Scored 9th t.d. of the year Sunday and the matchup w/Lions secondary next week should be tasty.
