Big week!!! Need a win to lock playoff spot!!! who to play???
Here is my team: http://www.numberfire.com/nfl/user-teams/1010 need 1 QB, 2RB and 1 Te.. PPR.. WR's are pretty much a lock with A. Johnson, Jordy and Megatron.. But can change.. Also available is Garcon.. so could plug him in over Jordy. 2 of my Rb's have very tough opponents this week. Available to pick up of Waivers are Beanie Wells, Sproles, Jacqiuzz Rodgers and Mikel LeShoure..

I answered this in a previous thread (I can't find it now), but I mentioned playing Martin and Rice as the 49ers will be resting Gore. I didn't mean that they would be resting him more than usual (like they may be at the very end of the seaon once the playoffs are wrapped up), just that I don't expect his workload to increase all that much with Kendall Hunter out (I expect Brandon Jacobs or someone else to pick up the slack). Still, I like all three of your RB's better than those listed off waivers (though Sproles is close in a PPR) and would stick with Jordy Nelson over Garcon at WR.

Yeah I get that.. I think with Kap at QB at most Gore may get about 15 touches. THanks for the answer..

Start both the Johnson's, your d and your kicker are going to start. Also Doug Martin and Ray Rice are a good start plus if you have flex frank Gore should be in it to gain maximum points. Hernandez is good and so is Davis, Tom Brady passes the ball a lot but to many diffrent receivers....um so you can go with what I call a gamble and play Davis hopping new QB Kaepernick passes to Davis.

I see you helping everyone else, so you deserve some help:

First, your WRs suck. What kind of GM are you? Just kidding obviously. Stick with Jordy. I like Garcon this week, but he's not 100% healthy. Jordy is a stud. Seems like a pretty shallow league with that kind of talent available. 8 teams?

As for RBs... you can only start 2? How do you decide on who to sit out of Rice, Gore, and Martin?

I like Sproles a lot in PPR. Atlanta's secondary is good so it makes sense for NO to involve Sproles heavily in the passing game. Beanie has a nice matchup (but a terrible OL). Rodgers has a great matchup (but he's in a timeshare). Leshoure has a good matchup, but is a little nicked up.

Dont overthink it. While those guys on waivers are good, the three you have on your team are elite. You'd be nuts to sit one of those three for any of those four on waivers.

You say 2 of your RBs have tough opponents. Obviously Rice is one of them. Which of the others has a tough matchup? Gore's matchup is tough for some RBs. Not for Gore. He had 97 and a TD against the Rams just a couple of weeks ago. As for Martin, while Denver's numbers against RBs have been good, look at the teams they've played. When they've faced a good RB (Charles, Ridley, Foster), they've given up points.

I really dont want to tell you to sit Ray Rice. But I think you have to sit Ray Rice here. Since its a PPR, then moving forward, I think Gore is your 3rd best RB (he's also going to lose a little around the goaline to Kaepernick). But for this week, I think Gore/Martin are the safer plays.

What other WRs are available? If those 4 RBs are out there, you can probably find WRs to upgrade over Lloyd, Williams, and maybe Brown.

in fact, I would drop Lloyd for Garcon at this point. RG3 loves Garcon. Brady doesn't seem to love Lloyd

I agree Drop Lloyd he does not get enough of the ball. But I'm still a big advocate to starting RB's at Flex. You maximize your points that way.

team.. those were pretty much my thoughts.. after this week Gore becomes my 3rd option.. yeah 8 teams.. going to drop Lloyd and probably Brown.. wanted Amendola, but not healthy enough. I'll find someone.

Oh, and at TE, I'd go with Hernandez over Davis definitely. Big Vern has disappeared. And I like both QBs. I think that game will be a shootout. I like the Giants to put up more points, and they'll put the heat on RG3, but RG3 is a better QB. So its a toss up there. I'd go with RG3 because he's been dominant lately

Yeah At QB I'm leaning towards RG, just because I think ELi will still lose out on TD's to the running game.
