You think they'll give him the whole game, or do you expect Alex Smith to get some reps?

I actually like Eli here. I have the same 3 options, and here's my take on it. Eli has historically done very well coming off a bye. Secondly, he really needs to step up to silence his (well-deserved) critics, and a fully healthy Hakeem Nicks helps with that. Carson Palmer is clearly the safe option, and will be throwing the ball even more due to a stingy Cincinnati run defense. He's a close second. Kaepernick has the potential to explode, but there's no guarantee that Alex Smith won't step in if he isn't exceptional. So I'm starting Eli unless someone talks me into Palmer.

If you are feeling risky go with Kaepernick, he is the upside play. But there is a chance he does not perform and Harbaugh replaces him with Alex. If you want the guaranteed 15-20 points go with Palmer.

Kaep has the best matchup, but I'd go Palmer/Manning/Kaep
