Start Palmer over Ryan?
I'm 9-1, already in the playoffs and nearing number 1 overall in my league with a two-game lead. Yahoo is indicating Carson Palmer will have more points than Matt Ryan this week, and while I don't necessarily take the Yahoo points as gospel it's an intriguing idea. What does everyone think?

0Ryan Carr (712 Reputation Points)I'm actually planning on starting Palmer over Ryan in one of my leagues where I need a win. This is matchup based. I think Palmer is going to have to throw at least 50 times which should lead to great things v NO. Go with your gut. Good luck.

0Andy Cochrane (110 Reputation Points)Palmer s better than perceived by many and is a top 10 QB fantasy wise this year. That sad I wouldn't bench Ryan for him. Ryan is up there with the top 5 and I wouldn't leave him out.

0Ryan Payton (500 Reputation Points)It's possible. But Matt Ryan just had a career day last week. True, against the same NOR defense---but rationale says you don't start Palmer over Matt Ryan. Sheer volume could have Palmer topping Ryan this week---but that's like starting Palmer over Rodgers. You just don't do it.

0Jesse Hunt (500 Reputation Points)If you were going to play Palmer over Ryan any week this would be it. We all know he will throw almost 50 times and more then likely playing from behind. The Running game is a mess in Oakland as well so that also helps.
