Should I drop Brent Celek for Dennis Pitta?

My starter is Vernon Davis but he has been terrible for a while and him with a new quarterback makes it even worse. Pitta is availible on waivers. Thoughts?

If the Eagles bench Vick (which it sounds like they will at least for this week because of his concussion) I would stick with Brent Celek. It seems that young QB's go to their TE a lot, so I think I would stick with him.

I actually like Celek more now that Vick is out.. He wasn't used much with Vick at QB.. and with all the small WR's that Philly has Celek should be relied on heavily..

I'm agreeing with Kacee. Generally, rookie QB's are dumping it off constantly with quick slants and over the middle to TE's. I think Celek has a pretty decent game---same for McCoy. Pitta just happened to blow up for his second time this year. I'm saying Celek is the steadier play.

Actually vs the Bears w/Kapernick probably starting, I'd think V Davis would be a good start. Chi/vs TE's not that good. Pitta is dependant on Flacco and next 2 for BALT are on the road where Flacco just doesn't seem to be able to get it done.

Sure. Not a big difference but I think the eagles start running the ball a lot more (or at least they should)
