Which D/ST to start this week?
This is a big week for me. I have the 49ers D/ST and Denver D/ST. I need to win this week if I have a shot at the playoffs.

    I wouldn't take the risk of starting the Broncos D against someone like Cam Newton who could potentially go off for a big game. Sam Bradford hasn't shown any sign of brilliance and the 49ers have shown that they're pretty reliable against the run. Go for the 49ers.

    Both have solid matchups, but I like the 49ers here. That game is going to be all defense, and Sam Bradford is a human turnover because of his lack of a line or competent receivers outside of Amendola. Look for the 49ers to jump out to a lead early and force Bradford into some mistakes.

    I don't like the looks of that Denver/Carolina game - think it could go either way. 49ers should force a few TOs, may even grab a TD. I'd go with the 49ers.
