Owen daniels has been my TE superstar this year, but i can play vernon instead this week. horrible matchup away to Chicago, what do you think?.

    I think Austin is on it with the analysis - I also like Daniels, even against the Bears, IF he was healthy. I think you avoid the headaches this week (Daniels plays Sunday night), and feel good about Davis!

    I don't think that the matchup against Chicago is quite as bad as you think. I would roll with Owen Daniels this week, and here's why: Chicago plays a lot of Cover 2, which leaves some big holes open in the middle of the field. While Chicago might be ranked somewhat high against the TE for fantasy, it is also a function of the competition they have played. The only 2 opponents that feature a stud TE (DAL and GB), they have given up a TD. The opponents that don't have a strong TE haven't been able to do much. Given that TE is a strength for the Texans, I would roll with Daniels.

    start vernon davis because the bears know what a threat daniels can be so they will do a good job covering him and also daniels is injured and vernon davis's matchup is good
