Colorado Avalanche winger Chris Wagner will make his debut for the team on Tuesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Wagner joined the Avs as a waiver claim from the Anaheim Ducks. He is expected to play in the bottom-six, centering either the third or fourth line. Where he plays will depend on John Mitchell, who did not practice on Monday and is day-to-day with an oblique injury.
Wagner played sparingly in 11 games for the Ducks this season, with an average time on ice of just 9:46. He does not have a goal on 17 shots, and has also failed to record an assist. We project him to not have a fantasy impact against the Leafs, registering about one shot and not recording any points.
