Kings' Jhonas Enroth posts shutout against Blues

Los Angeles Kings goalie Jhonas Enroth stopped all 24 shots he faced in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the St. Louis Blues.

What It Means:

With the Kings playing two games in two nights, coach Darryl Sutter opted to give Enroth the start and he didn't disappoint. The 27-year-old has only started two games for the Kings this season, but he's picked up victories in both of them. Enroth gives Los Angeles a solid backup option behind Jonathan Quick.

In a small sample size of two games, Enroth owns a sparkling .984 save percentage while allowing just 0.50 goals per game. Obviously, it's a pace no one can maintain. Over the rest of the season, we see Enroth posting a .903 save percentage with a goals-against-average of 2.67.
