Richard Bachman set to make Canucks debut

Vancouver Canucks goalie Richard Bachman will play between the pipes for the first time this season on Friday against the Arizona Coyotes.

What It Means:

Goalie Jacob Markstrom was the intended backup to Ryan Miller, but an injury has moved Bachman into this role. Miller has started all 10 games for the Canucks so far this season.

In 41 career games played Bachman has posted a .904 save percentage and a 2.93 goals against average. Our algorithms project him to face 29.30 shots, allowing 2.41 goals, giving himself a 60% chance at earning the victory on Friday against the Coyotes.
