Blue Jackets' Ryan Johansen is over his illness
Columbus Blue Jackets center Ryan Johansen has recovered from his illness and is expected to return to the team's lineup on Friday.
He hasn't been able to play since October 22nd because of the illness. In that game -- the first under new head coach John Tortorella -- Johansen saw a season-low 13:57 of ice time.
Although Johansen has put up six points in eight games this year, his advanced metrics have lagged behind. He holds a -4.3 Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength, down from 1.5 percent last year. Our projections still love him for the rest of the year, seeing him notch 20 more goals and 38 additional assists.
