Detroit Red Wings defenseman Mike Green will miss two to three weeks with an upper-body injury.
Green sustained the injury on Friday against the Calgary Flames. He had notched one assist on the year prior to the injury.
Green has struggled this year with a career-low Corsi For Percentage of 47.6. His Relative Corsi For Percentage at Even Strength has dipped, as a result, to -2.7. After posting marks of 53.0 and 2.6 respectively last year, it's possible Green could use the time off to reset and figure out what had caused the drop in performance.
