Ben Bishop will start between the pipes for Dallas
Dallas Stars goalie Ben Bishop is getting the start in the season opener on Friday.
Bishop is making his first appearance in a Dallas uniform after spending the 2016-17 season with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Los Angeles Kings. He posted 2.54 goals against average, and a .910 save percentage in 39 games played last season.
Our models project Bishop as the second-best goalie option on Friday's limited slate with 2.5 goals allowed, 26.2 saves, and a 62.0% chance of winning versus the Las Vegas Golden Knights.
